Eight emoji, one per line
Sorry 100 Times With Emoji
An emoji on every line changes how a wall of text reads. It softens the repetition and stops a hundred identical words looking like a system error. Here is the block with ๐, plus the other seven that work โ and an honest note on which one to pick.

Quick answer
How do I write sorry 100 times with emoji?
Put one emoji at the end of each "sorry" line, the same emoji every time. Repeating a single emoji reads as sincere; alternating between several reads as decoration. The block below uses ๐, and the generator lets you swap in any of eight options.
- Same emoji on every line โ do not alternate.
- ๐ is the safest default. ๐ is the quietest.
- Avoid ๐ญ and ๐ unless the situation is genuinely serious.
One emoji, repeated, beats eight emoji mixed
The instinct when building an apology like this is to vary the emoji โ a ๐ here, a ๐ข there โ so it does not look monotonous. It is the wrong instinct. Mixing emoji turns the block into decoration, and decoration reads as performance.
A single emoji repeated a hundred times does something different. It reads as a refrain. The eye registers the pattern immediately, understands the whole block in one glance, and then stops โ which is what you want. The message is the shape, not the individual lines.
It also makes the block scannable. If someone does scroll, every line looks the same, so there is nothing to pick apart and nothing to argue with. That is the point of repeating rather than writing a hundred different apologies.
Which emoji should go on the line?
Eight options, and what each one actually communicates when it appears a hundred times in a row.
| Emoji | Name | Reads as | Use when |
|---|---|---|---|
| ๐ | Folded hands | Asking, not performing | The safe default for almost anything |
| ๐ | Pensive face | Quiet regret | A small mistake you did not mean |
| ๐ฅบ | Pleading face | Vulnerable, soft | A partner or close friend |
| ๐ข | Crying face | Openly upset | Use sparingly โ can read as pressure |
| ๐ | Broken heart | Relationship-level hurt | A real betrayal, not a late reply |
| ๐ | Person bowing | Formal, almost playful | Family, elders, a formal setting |
| ๐ | Bouquet | Apology as a gesture | Pairs well with an actual apology gift |
| ๐ | Crescent moon | Late-night regret | The 2am message you rewrote four times |
Emoji names follow the Unicode CLDR short names. Rendered appearance varies by platform โ Apple, Google and Samsung each draw these differently.
Practical notes
Three things emoji do to a long message
-
They add length
Each emoji counts as two characters on most platforms. A hundred of them adds about 200 characters โ enough to matter if you are near an SMS boundary.
-
They break SMS encoding
An emoji forces a text message into UCS-2 encoding, which drops the per-segment limit from 160 characters to 70. Emoji and SMS do not mix well.
-
They stop the block looking broken
A hundred identical lines of bare text can read as a rendering fault. A hundred identical lines with an emoji read as intentional.
Emoji and SMS are a bad combination
Adding an emoji switches a text message from GSM-7 to UCS-2 encoding. The per-segment limit falls from 160 characters to 70, so a hundred sorrys goes from 4 segments to roughly 12. Use WhatsApp, iMessage or RCS if you want the emoji to arrive intact.
Sorry 100 times with emoji โ questions
๐ folded hands is the safest choice for almost any situation โ it reads as asking rather than performing. For a partner, ๐ฅบ is softer. For family or elders, ๐ carries a formal tone that works well.
Yes. Repeating one emoji makes the block read as a refrain; alternating between several makes it read as decoration, which undercuts the apology.
About 200 in total, since most platforms store an emoji as two characters. A hundred plain sorrys is roughly 600 characters; with emoji it is around 800.
Modern smartphones render all eight emoji above correctly. Very old feature phones and some SMS-only devices may show them as boxes or question marks.
You can, but ๐ and โค๏ธ read as affection rather than apology and can muddle the message. If you want a heart, ๐ is the only one that clearly signals regret.
